Mr. and Mrs. Gail Wirth of Lincoln visited in Louisville this weekend. Mr. end Mrs. Herbert Slander j are the parents of a son. born at the r.lcthodist Hospital m Oma ha. Tuesday, Sept.23. Mr. and Mrr-. Slander have one other child, a daughter, Dianne. A very happy reunion took place in Louisville last week, when Mrs. Mose Barr entertained her only brother, Thomas E. Smith, of Spokane. Wash., who flew here to see her. This was the first time they had seen each ether in nearly 47 years. Mr. Smith is 77 years old and has been connected with the High way Department of the Sta.e of Washington for many years. Louisville is going to have another corn show again this year. The date has not been de cided on however. Mrs. George Dolan entered the Methodist Hospital in Oma r.;.1 last Monday, where she sub riitttd to an operation Tuesday. She is reported to be getting lilong nicely. Mrs. Don Urvin received word last week that her brother W. L. Pogers and wife of Portland, Oregon are the parents of a baby boy, born Tuesday, Sept. 23. Th's is their second boy. -Mrs. Clara Howe of Omaha was a week end guest of her father, Charles Engelkemier, and her sister, Mrs. Long. Louie Neumann of Manlcv was in Louisville on business Thurs day. Mrs. Nellie Hart pence left Saturday for her heme in Kan sas City, after spending several days here visiting her niece, Mrs. C. E. Sutton and .family. Miss Dorothy Merritt of Om aha was a week end house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koter zina. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Blair moved the first of the week from an aprtment in the Savicky home to the Robertson place which was vacated last week by Ellis and Dave Benedict. Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Wymer moved Sunday from the former Phelps place west of town to a home they bought from Kenneth Heard. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller of j Omaha took in the carnival Sat urday night. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Barr and son of Council Bluffs, Iowa spent the week end visiting rel tives. Willard McShane, Dr. W. J. Snyder and H. B. Koop were in Lincoln to see the Cornhuskers piay Indiana in the opening game on the Nebraska schedule. Mrs. Snyder accompanied them. Robert Sunderland of Kansas City, Mo. spent from Monday evening until Friday attending to business matters in Louisville. Mr. K. V. -WTiite came up Thursday and both men re turned to their homes, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peter son and son, Robert, of Wahoo, were in Louisville Friday eve ning for the carnival and also visited Mr. and Mrs. A. H? Peter son.
