Charles Marshall, state presi dent, vas the guest speaker, for the evening. Mr. Marshall gave a very impressive talk about the trip east which he made recently to study the marketing condi tions of livestock. He expressed his concern and alarm over the attitude of the city consumers, who blame the farmers of the middle west for the present high food prices, with' emphasis on meat prices.
