As mueh as 5l) cents higher, fat steers hit $33.50, highest to date this year, and feeder steers, 1.365-pound Nebraska grassers, Monday scored an unprecedented $26.50. Wyoming stock steers al so cut a fancy figure, $24.10, and heifers reached $21.50. Stocker and feeder values were 50 cents ami more up. Cows likewise were higher than last week at $10.50-$19.00. However, on Tues day, slaughter steers, yearlings and heifers were barely steady to 50 cents lower, and cow trade turned uneven. New York Yankee Tryout at Glenwood -As a fitting climax to the two day New York Yankee trv-out camp at-Glenwood, August 26-27, an All-Star tam of future Yan kee rookies selected by Burleigh Grimes, Joe McDermott and Wat tie Holm, will play the Glenwood town team at the Memorial Ath letic Field Rally, Wednesday eve nine at 8 p. m. The Yankee scouts conducting the camp will manage the All Star team composed of western Iowa and eastern Nebraska youths whom they consider ma jor league material. Included on the evening's prof-am will be short talks by the Yankee scouts on personal big league experiences and explana tions, on requisites for major leaeue caliber ball players.
