Soil Conservation Tour June 13th The Soil Conservation Tour! which had to be postponed last! March will be held June 18th. The tour will start at the Cass Soil Conservation office at 9:30 a. m. Stops will be made on the Lloyd Ranney, Richard Hobson,; Sterling Ingwerson and Hugo' Meisinger farms. Lunch will bej served by the Ladies' Aid at the! Christ Lutheran church. If you, live on a farm, own a farm or) are otherwise interested in agri culture and soil saving practices time will be well spent to at tend and take part in the tour. Practices and soil saving devices to be shown and discussed in clude grassed waterways, con crete drop outlets, terrace farm ing, contour farming, strip crop ping, tree plantings and approv ed rotations. 4-II Judging Day Friday, June 20th A 4-H practice judging day will be held at Lincoln at the College of Agriculture, Friday, June 20th. at 10:00 a. m. After the members responded to roll call they read and dis cussed the lesson and took a test on the material read. Mrs. Bill Halmes, assisted by Bernice and Betty, served re freshments at the close of the meeting. The rest of the evening was devoted to games.
