Diekmann-Alexen Nuptials On Saturday evening, May 17, at eight o'clock in the parsonage ; of the First Presbyteriaa church occurred the marriage of Mis3 Irene Alexen, daughter of Mr. i and Mrs. John A. Alexen of this I city, and Merle Diekniann, son of ; Mr. and Mrs. William Diekmann pf Louisville. The double ring service was used. The marriage ; lines were read by Dr. H. G. Mc Clusky, pastor of the church. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs Chet Lagerstrom, sister and ; brother-in-law of the bride. j The bride and her sister each wore with and a corsage of red roses. The bridegroom wore a blue suit and his best man wore a dark business suit. A wedding dinner was held Sunday at the home of the biiue's parents. The dining table was most attractive with cut flowers, glowing candles and a large three tier wedding cake that had been prepared by the bride's mother. Attending the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. William Diekniann of Louisville, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lau of Murdock, Mr. and Mrs4 Leroy Meisinger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Porter, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Lagerstrom and fara ily, Mrs. Tinus Bomberg and family, Miss Deloris Rayer, the honored guests and the hosts ami their family.
