Mrs. Lulu Buss has returned to her home after spending the j winter in Lincoln. Her sister, Mrs. Fanny McFarland will make her home with her. Mr. and Mrs. William Gollncr received a telephone call early Wednesday morning from Grand Island saying their daughter Mrs Joe Olewine was very ill. Mrs. Carrie Lefft ahd Ester Weeping Water, Mrs. Frank Greenrod of Nebraska City and Fred Kuhnenn of Syracuse visi ted in town the later part of last week. Dr. O. C. Hudson Reopens Offices J where he arid Mrs. Hudson own and operated a hospital until about a year ago. For the past year thty have been at Hunting. Returning to Plattsmouth after j ton Park, Calif. Dr. Hudson has been practic ing since 1925. an absence of six years, O. C. Hudson, D. O., will resume his general practice. He will be lo cated in the new rooms being completed in the hotel building on iMorth Sixth street. , Leaving here in 1941 Dr. Hud son and family went to Reno LOUISVILLE.- The village board closed its work of the year Tuesday night at a meeting in the city hall council chambers and the new member, A. H. Funke, was sworn in. Board chairman Sjo gren, who has served as" chairman the past year was reelected, as were H. B. Koop, clerk, and Viv. ian Blake, treasurer. LaRue Williams and Emil Anderson were named street commissioner and city marshall respectively. Dr. W. H. Worthman was appointed city physician. STUDIO family have one other child, a daughter, Barbara, who is now nine years old Ensign Ted Brunson received his discharge from the navy last week and he and Mrs. Brunson arrived in Louisville Friday for a visit. Ted expects to return to his studies in college where he left off when he entered the ser vice. Mrs. Reb?cca Johnson of Boc lus, Mrs. Henry Heins of Roek ville, and Mrs. Earl Fullerton of Grand Island were guests in the Dinsdale home Friday evtning. Dennis Wthrman come frcm Lincoln to spend the weekend with his mother and sisters. He returned to his studies at the University Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Mrs. Snyder did some shopping while in Lincoln. Mrs. John Reveillac had his tonsils removed last Tuesday by Dr. Tyson of Murray. John, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Mil tcn Hoover also had a tonsilec tomy the same day. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Thomas went to Kansas City Saturday to visit over Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Thomas. They re turned home Monday. Mcrvil Miller arrived home Saturday from California for a few days leave which he is spending with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller at Manley. i Mervil is in the navy. La Rue Williams returned home I last week from the Methodist hospital in Omaha where he had i undergone an operation on his back. He is feeling much improved. ."V 5 y.
