Entries were from Weeping Water, Elmwood, Louisville, Union. Nehawka. Mur dock, Avoca and Eagle. The festival opened at 10:00 a. m. with the piano group. Instru mental numbers followed. Vocal groups completed the days pro gram. Critics were Don Lentz of the University of Nebraska band and Mrs. Lentz. Judging was on the basis of accepted ratings with nc trophies awarded Ratings given entrants of each group were as follows: man, Dora Lou Alfrey and Cloyd ' Coop, Louisville; Excellent, Mari- j lyn Schafer, Nehawka, Delores Scattergood.
