Hallstrom : of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hall vn of Avoca. Rev. Hefner, fa . of the bide, received the vowa a double ring ceremony. The bride, who was given in mar riage by her father, wore an ivory brocaded satin wedding gown, made with a tulle yoke and bertha col lar. The skirt had a bustle back and a two-yard train. The veil had a crown of orange blossoms and was trimmed in Chantilly lace. The bride wore a strand of pearls a gift of her groom. Her bouquet was white roses and orchids. Mrs. Norma Cloyed attended her sister as matron of honor. Miss Leona Cartels was maid of honor. Both wore identical gowns of tea rose nylon taffeta and carried tal isman roses. Other attendantswere Miss Corrine Hallstrom, Mrs. Pl asek, and Miss J6 Ann Schulte, who wore gowns of pine green, fuschia and tearose. They carried arm bouquets of talisman roses, The bridegroom was attended by his two brothers, Tom and Jack, Frederick and Paul Hefner and Norman Cloyed were his other at- tendants. They all wore carnation bcutonnieres. Marlene Hennings and Mrs. Jack Taylor lighted the candles. Flow er girls were Genine Brandt, and Cnja Wulber. Richard Allen Keh lenbcck, nephew of the bride, was .'r.g bearer. Instrumental recordings were played before the ceremony. Two vocal numbers "Always" and "Through the Years", were sung by Miss Jean Carole Long.ca companied by Mrs. Esther Bart ling at the organ. The church was decorated with flowers and candles and baskets rf chrysanthemums. Following the cermonv a recept ions was given by the bride's par ents in the church social room. A four tier wedding cake centered the bride's table. It was served vvi'h ice cream and coffee to the invited guests. Mr. and Mrs. Hallstrom hayr gone on a trip to Colorado. Texa Louisiana and Kentucky. They will be at home in Avoca after Chrl" mas. The bride is a graduate of the Syracuse high school and of Mid land college at Fremont. She has " T , I schools and at Fremont and is teaching now in Syracuse. The bridegroom is a graduate of Avoca high school and works with his father in the Farmers State bank in Avoca. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard from 1942 until his discharge in 1946, when he re i sumed his work in the bank. He is I a grandson of Mrs. Hilma Hall 1 strom and a nephew of Mrs. Al pha Mauzy of this city.
