The chamber urged Croil Hunter president of the airline company, to move Northwest's main office, hangars and repair shops to the huge new Seattle-Tacoma airport at Bow Lake.'IIunter Tuesday an nounced that his company had ten cities, including Seattle, under consideration for an $8,000,000 development. Chamber officials interpreted Northwest's interest in Seattle as a "tip" that the company expects to receive a franchise for flights to the orient and announced that Seattle "is the logical midway point along that route." The chamber assured Hunter that the 95 to 125 acres needed for Northwest's new plant could be made available at Bow Lake, newest and one of the largest air ports on Northwest's coast-to-coast route. University Gets Student Loan Fund LINCOLN, 0J.R) Establishment of the Vida N. Metzger Memorial Student Loan Fund for the bene fit of women students in the de pa! tment of home economics at the University of Nebraska college of agriculture was announced Wednesday. Perry W. Branch, director of the University of Nebraska foun dation, said M. O. Metzger of Mer- riman has set up a fund of ?5,000 for the fund in memory of his daughter Vida N. Metzger. The late Milss Metzger graduated from Nebraska in Ht22 and spent the j balance of her, life in teaching home economics ar.'I in the agri cultural extension service as a home demonstration agent.
