S. sub marines of 121 vessels-an average of more than two a day, in the last two months. All the sinkings announced today took place in eastern waters, close to the enemy's homeland and stolen southern empire. LLOYD GORGE ILL LONDON, Feb. 20, OJ R) David Lloyd George, 83 year old British statesman and World War I Prime Minister, was reported in serious condition at his home in wales to night after a week-long iullness com plicated by his age. Lloyd was stricken with a mild at tack of influenza at his home last week but had been reported "recover ing satisfactorily. A bulletin issued by his physician tonight, however, anounced that he had had a relapse and was ''Suffer ing from increasing weakness." "His condition must cause some an xiety for his family, his friends and the nation at large, 'the bulletin said. EXCHANGE SHIP IN JERSEY CITY. Feb. 21, (U.P) The exchange shin Gripsholm arrived to day from Marseille, France, carry ing 1,02G soldiers and civilian, among whom were a large number of ser iously ill and wounded American and Canadian prisoners of war.
