The game showed very well the ef fect of the long lay-off in that both teams fumbled often and fouled frequently. Sterling Cole again landed the scores with 12 points and following him closely were teammates Joe Gradoville with 10 and Dale Reck- ard with nine. High scorer for Glen wood was Lipsett 6 points. The three outstanding features of the game proved the fact that Glen wood was held to two field goals., one in each half, and although there were 34 fouls called, no one com mitted enough to be forced out of the game. Glenwood was held scoreless dur ing the third period. The Platts mouth reserves led by Larry Thim gan with 11 points and Dwight Atte berry with 10 points, made a clean 1945 start with a 32-23. Next Wednesday should be a nat ural with Valley High invading the Blue Devils court.
