On Christmas Eve. they were among the visitors at the home of their grandparents," Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ganen in Plattsmouth. and the Christmas day was spent in Lin- . coin with Mrs. Wiles' father 'and ; sister, Mr. John Davis and Miss Lea. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lancaster were happy to have their entire family, children and grandchildren with them for dinner on Sunday when it was their real; Christmas,, for old ' Santa made his appearance and everyone was -well remembered. On Monday Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster were guests of their daughter, Mrs. Dan - Hoschar and family in Plattsmouth, and al?o called on Mr. Jarvis Lan caster in the afternoon, finding him as well as usual and -with all the ; members of their family present to enjoy Christmas day .together. ' , Mr. and Mrs, G. E. Brubacher and with Mrs. Biubacher's relatives in Beverly, .were , enjoying - Christmas Auburn. mas day. Other guests at Seybolts were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Warthen and Mrs. Rachel Faris. Later in the ev ening Mr. and, Mrs. Marian Warthen and Billy invaded the Seybolt resi dence with a freezer of home made ice cream to which they all did ample justice. ' Mr. and Mrs. Bert Warthen were ' spending the day Christmas with the parents of Mrs. Warthen, Mr. and Mrs. Ross at Nehawka. Mr. and Mrs. Holman Kinney had as their guest for Chrismas and the following days, Mrs. McKinney's mother, Mrs. Franke of Cedar Creek. - chen and Tommy and their guest,! day they spent, with another sister, Mr Tiac Wiles of Weeping water iurs. xwy uie aim iamwy in Plaits were soendinsr the . Christmas day with the Andrew Plson family , at Weeping Water, they being the fam ily of Mrs. Harold -JViles. Mrs. Ben Dill and Lester and their guest, Miss Nellie Tucker, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dill were din ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Will Rice on Christmas day. The Frank Marler family had two Christmas dinners. The one on Sunday at their home with Mrs. Mar ker's sister, Mrs. Frank Dill and Mr. Dill as their guests and Christmas mouth. ; - . . - - : '. i 'Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Jennings were entertaining their daughter, Mrs. Metta Persinger of Plattsmouth and their son Delbert, wife and son, Del- bert, Jr., of Omaha on Christmas day . Mr. and Mrs. Will Minford had Mr. Minford"s relatives for the Christmas dinner and day. They were Mrs. Lela Minford and Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Wiles of Plattsmouth. Mr. and Mrs. John Doeschott and the boys and Mr. and Mrs.- Ed ward Brittain were Christmas visit ors with the mother of the . ladies, Mrs. Eugenia DeLesDernier, when all enjoyed dinner and the day to gether. , Mr. and Mrs. Marion Warthen were having Christmas dinner with their daughter, Mrs. Raymond Lan caster and the boys. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rae had as their pre-Christmas Sunday dinner guests, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Shra der, Mrs. Mae Burke of Plattsmouth, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Shrader and family of Lincoln, Mrs. Georgfe Creamer, Mrs. Lou Wilfe, and Al eck Campbell and on Christmas day they were with the Rae family in Plattsmouth. Dr. and Mrs. Tyson and Ann Mari lyn were entertaining a number of relatives a a Christmas Eve dinner, which was a very pleasant affair for all. ' Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Hansen and Roland, and Miss Margaret Moore had as their guests for dinner and Christmas day several of their rela tives. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Humble of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hild and daughter and little grandchild of Mrs. Selma Nelson and Eddie and Pvt. Willard Nelson and wife were dinner guests of Mrs. Nelson's bro- ss ther, Mr. Henry Johnson and fam ily on Christmas day. Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Spangler and daughter, Mrs. Margaret Todd were enjoying the day with Everett. Spanglers in Omaha. Council Bluffs, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sullivan and children, platts mouth..." ' Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hobschejdt were in Plattsmouth Christmas day when they were present at a family dinner at the -home' of the ' parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hobs-cheidtr: Bob Wolfarth was in Omaha Wed nesday to attend a banquet which the White jVIotor Co., gave at. the Fontenelle for their employees, and reports a grand time. ; J. L. Younsf and little ; son , are among the many who are "afflicted with the flu during, the holidays. Mrs. Margaret Brcndel had as her guests for dinner and the day Sun day, Mr. and Mrs. WmV Seybolt and the Seybolts returned the invitation for dinner in the. evening of Christ- Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wolfarth and Bob were entertaining relatives for Christmas dinner and the day. They being Mr. and Mrs. Jack Heet er of McCook, Mr. Adam Shafer and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Shafer and family. Mrs. Rachel Faris and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Faris and family were Christmas guests of the George Rieke "family. - Mr. and Mrs.- DeForreet Ward's Christmas guesti were' her "father,! Mr. J. L.
