Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Iloschar have recently learned that their son, 2nd Lt. John Iloschar, has been t; aa f erred from Florida, to Arkansas. Mrs. Robert Rea. and Mrs. Clara Frans were shopping in Omaha Tuesday. Mrs. J. L. Young, Jr., was ho-sicsc to their Neighborhood club week, when six members and one visitor were present. At the clos'-e o: a most pleasant afternoon the host ess served dainty refreshments. The December meeting will be held a! the home of Mrs. Tarr Young:, ant will be a Christmas' riarty. Mr and Mrs. Fred Hild had as! their dinner guests Saturday, some cousins of Mrs Hild's, they being Miss Ilelen Hunter and little neph ew, Hunter Ingwerson of Platts mouth, and Miss Irene Philpot of Omaha who -was enjoying her Thanksgiving vacation from teaching in the Omaha r.chools, by visitlnj with the relatives here. Tha teachers of the local school were spending the Thanksgiving va cation with their home folks. Miss Garrison at' Union, Miss Boedeker at her home near Nehawka, and Mrs. Reed spent the Thank-Diving day with her daughter and family in Omaha and the rest of the week with the folks at Auburn, returning Sunday evening. . ' Mr. and Mrs. Marian Wiles and daughter Diana were entertaining at . a belated Thanksgiving dinner Sunday and their guests were Miss La Verne Shafer of Weepln? Wa ter. Mr. J. II. Davis and Mir.s Loa Davis of Lincoln. Miss Margaret Moore is in Coun cil Bluffs to attend the funeral ser vices for a friend, and to vi?it for a few days with her sister, Mrs. Emil Hild and family Mr .and Mrs. F. A. Hansen of Nehawka were spendng Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hild, the ladies being sisters. Dr. Everett Haney of Sterling, Kansas, arrived in Murray Monday and is conducting services each evening this week at the U. P. church.
