He eniisted in the Marines, Sept. 1, 1S42, and took his training at Camp Elliott, and Camp Mathew ncar San Diego. He graduated from Officers Training school at Quanti co, Va., Jan. 12, -1944, when he re ceived his commission. He also grad uated from Reserve Officers school at Quantico, April 5th. They left for Sioux City and Mur ray, Neb., for a short honeymoon and will leave for Florida, April 17th, where he will report for duty April 21st. Departs for the West Mr. and Mrs. Harley Wiles, who have been spending several days here with the relatives and the old time friends, departed this morning from Oniahii for the west ccast. They are making their home at Long Beach, California, where Mr. Wiles is engaged in defense work. This is their fl-?t visit back to Nebraska in several years and was greatly en joyed by the many old friends. Mrs. Philip Keil. Sr., who has been visiting at the home of her sis ter, Mrs. C. M. Read, near Murray, bar. returned home. Mrs. Keil had a very pleasant time in visiting with the relatives and old time friends.
