Trainees Enjoy Furlough Three riattsmouth men, now in training for the navy at Iowa State college at Ames, are here for a visit with the relatives and friends. Wil liam G. Robertson and Edwin Iliber arrived Saturday evening to visit 'their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Robertson and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Iliber. Srnday, Joe Noble, who play ed football with the Seahawks on Saturday, arrived to enjoy a visit with hir. grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Noble, and other relatives. School Have Holiday Willi the close of the schools this afternoon the student body wilt enjoy a tour-day rest from studies, the district teachers meetings being held Thursday and Friday in addi tion to the regular school free days cf Saturday and Sunday. The athletic- department of the school left at 4 p. m. this afternoon for AVahoo where the Blue Devils will play their first night game of the season. Large Feeding Contract Charles Boedeker of Murray f is spending the week in Missouri where lie is making delivery of 950 head of angus calves which he contracted for the purchase of in August. These calves will be delivered to the feed ; yards of Boedeker & Cottingham, Boedeker & Son, L. B. Todd, Melvin Todd, Glen Todd, Leon Gansemer, Wayne Ackley and Otto Schafer in whose yards they will be fitted for the future fat cattle-market. Couldn't Cheat on Friends Chicago, Oct. 27. Add water, simmer for two hours, then add the remaining ingredients and simmer for one hour additional. Skim any surplus grease from meat before serving.
