She leaves to mourn her loss four sons; and four daughters: Joe of Alvo; 'Harry. of Omaha; Mrs.-Belle Leesley of Greenwood; Mrs.. Xely Cope of Waverly,' and John, Roy Mrs. Flor ence Jacobmeier and Mrs. Laura Lanning of Eagle; twenty-one grand children and twelve great grand chil dren and many other relatives and friends. ' i ' ' f The funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Eagle June 9, 1943 Interment was in the.family lot in the cemetery south of Alvo. The services were conducted by ,aRev. A. W. Undergoes Operation Mrs. .George Privett, of " Biglow, Missouri, who suffered a stroke some weeks ago is up and around and has suffered no ill effect from the stroke. Mrs.' Privett has received word that her sister, Mrs. Artiscia Davis, had undergone an operation for the correction of a spinal ailment due to a car accident that occured when she was living in Omaha. The Vickers Family - Mrs. John Rockenbach, Sr., re turned home from the Bryan Mem orial hospital last Tuesday where she had been receiving treatment. Her condition has not improved as her family had hoped it would. Miss Aletha McGinnis, of Chantite, Kans., who had enjoyed an extended visit with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Porter returned home last Saturday. Clarence Slosson of Walthill was in town visiting with friends last week. Mrs. A. M. Trumble attended grad uation exercises for the Lincoln high school June 4th. In the graduating class were her neice, Mary ' Ann Trumble, a nephew, Kenneth Rivett, and Patricia Longacre. Lonnie Shumaker of Auburn spent last week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Trunkenbolz. Mrs. Tom Hawkins left last Sun day night for California where she will visit relatives.
