Iowa, attending a three-day district convention of the Associated Credit Eureaus of Amer ica and the Credit Women's Break fast club. The conference com menced yesterday, continued today, and is to climax tomorrow. Mr. Thomsen is president of the Nebraska Association of Credit Bureaus, and Mrs. Thomsen was recently elected to head the Credit Women's Break fast club in Nebraska City. The dis trict convention at Sioux City is ex pected to bring persons from five states and one province iu Canada. HAS INTERESTING VISIT John Jacobs. who with his brother, Robert, is now located at Philadelphia, enjoyed a very delight ful sightseeing trip in New York City, letters to the parents state. With George and some friends they came to New York and started the tour of many of the best Known at tractions of the national metropolis. They visited Radio City and had the opportunity of seeing several shows iis well as a great orchestra concert. One of the thrills was the trip to the Battery and the view of the statue of liberty out in the harbor, whose torch lias bid welcome to mil lions seeking liberty and to escape oppression. Harris, former county com missioner, was in the city Saturday from his home to look after some matters of business and visit with the rid friends. Mr. Harris is re covering from the effects of the se vere injury received several weeks ago when kr.o'ked down by a bull and sustained a skull fracture and co;,. vssion.
