VISIT AT HOWELLS SETTLED IN NEW HOME ATTEND STOCK SHOW 1 Mr. and Mrs. James Rebal have returned from Howells, Nebraska, where they have been visiting over the week-end. They accompanied Mr. and Mrs. James Rebal, Jr., of Omaha to Howcllj where the party were guests of relatives of Mrs. James Rebal, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Long, who moved to Tlattsmouth from Nelson recently, are now settled in their new home, which was formerly the Claude Smith home on Locust street. Their daughter. Miss Loris Long is the commercial instructor at the Platts mouth high school. LEAVE FOR CALIFORNIA Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Paul Van dervoort, II with their son, Paul III, departed for the west coast where they will make an extended visit. HERE TO VISIT FRIENDS Mrs. Nora O'Brien and daughter, Mrs. Margaret Shicoine, of Salix, Iowa, are here to enjoy a short visit at the home of Mrs. Georgia Cream er and old friends in and near this city. They are former residents of this community. While here they attended the funeral services, for - Mrs. Charles McGuire held Saturday at the St. John's church, they being old time friends. TO WINTER IN NEBRASKA Mrs. Anna Allen arrived in Ne braska from the west coast and plans to spend the winter season in this city with her daughter, Mrs. O. R. Wilcox and family, and in Omaha with her three sons, Charles, D. F., and W.'S. Allen.
