Miss Daisy Dawson of Omaha, stopped in Plattsmouth Saturday afternoon while en route to Weeping Water, where they went to attend to busi ness matters. Mrs. Foltz renewed her annual subscription to the riatts mouth Journal. WINS IN CONTEST Among the list of winners, an nounced Sunday, in the Kitty Clover potato chip jingle contest, which was conducted two months ago, was in cluded Mrs. Clement Woster of this city. Mrs. Woster was listed among fifteen other prize winners, nine of them being from Nebraska. STILL CONFINED TO HOME John Kopp, one of the custodians of the court house, is still confined to his home as the result of a severe attack of cold complicated with asthma. VISIT IN IOWA Mrs. Hugo Heyn, her daughter, Miss Marjorie, and son, Eugene Richardson, Omaha, with Mrs. My ron Wiles of this city, retu.ned to their homes Monday after spending the week-end in Waterloo, la., as the guests of Mrs. Cameron Cathey and Mrs. L. G. Todd. Mr. Richardson is home on leave from Annapolis where he is a midshipman at the United States naval academy. HAS TONSIL OPERATION PRESENTS MOTION PICTURES The meeting of the Rotary club on Tuesday was presided over by L. S. Devoer vice-president. In place of George Jaeger, the president, who was absent from the city. The program wa3 in charge of E. H. Wescott and provided a very entertaining feature in the showing of motion pictures. The pictures were presented by W. f Evers, superin tendent of the Nebraska Masonic Home, embodying scenes taken on his recent trip to the east where he had attended the meeting of the NatlonaJ Association of Masonic Home Execu tives. The pictures' showed many of the scenes along the line of their motor trip to Trenton, Nevr Jersey, the scenes in that section of the country. The views of West Point military academy,1-the chapel, dor mitories, parade grounds and the old and storied buildings and scenes of historic interest also added to the interest of the pictures. Guests of the luncheon included Paul Cgeney and Scott Robinson, well known members of the Glenwood Ro tary club. From Tuesday's Dally Maldon Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Miles M. Allen, was operated on at Murray today for the removal of his tonsils. The young man came through the ordeal in excellent shape and it is hoped in a few days will be back in his accustomed health.
