Mrs. Meisinger and Mrs. R. A. Noell were the hostesses. The lesson on "Gardens, Garden Irrigation and Poultry," was given was served by the hostess at the close by the project leaders, Mrs. D. It. of the meeting. The meetings for the last three meetings were held. November meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Bernard Klinger. The afternoon was spent in mending for the hostess. Noell, proj ect leaders; Mrs. Ross Bourne, news December meeting was held at the home of Mrs. John J. Stones. The afternoon was spent in embroidering quilt blocks, and games. Ferrie were at Nebraska City Sunday afternoon and spent a few hours with Mr3. Loren Otto at the St. Mary's hospital. Mrs. Otto underwent an operation recent ly, but she is expected to leave the hospital next week Wednesday or Thursday. She will be brought to this city to the home of her sister, Mrs. Carl Chriswisser, who will care for hr. Sunday evening the same party as well as Carl Ulrich and Mrs. Ewald Ulrich motored to Omaha and visited with Mrs. Carl Ulrich, who is at the St. Catherine's hospital re cuperating from an appendectomy operation. Her condition is said to be slowly improving, bat will be cuinift time before she wm De aoie to return to her Plattsmouth home. JUNIOR , CHAMBER LUNCHEON Members of the " Plattsmouth Junior Chamber of Commerce met this weekt for their semi-monthly noon luncheon in the dining room of the Hotel Plattsmouth. , One guest, Vernon Waterman, social science teacher in the local high school, was present. The business session was presided over by Ordell Hennings, president, assisted by other officers of the organization. Charles Walden was chosen as pro gram chairman for the society's April social. February meeting was postponed on account of bafl roads. March meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Ralph Sullivan. Elec tion of officers was held. Those elect ed were: Mrs. Ralph Sullivan, -presi dent; Mrs. Newton Sullivan, vice president; Mrs. Newton Sullivan, treasurer; Mrs. Don Harris, Mrs. Alvadore Tilson, leaders; Mrs. Ralph Gansemer, social leader. Leaders Mrs. Chester Wiles and Mrs. Don Harri3 presented the les sons on "Gardening and Irrigation of Gardens and Poultry Hints of the Season," which were enjoyed by all. A stork shower was given for Mrs. Don Harris. She received many pretty gifts. There was a perfect attendance at this meeting. Visitors present were Mrs. Mayfield, Mrs. Walter Porter and Miss Dorothy Linder. A very delicious lunch was served by the hostess at the close of the meeting.
