CASE Phone 268-J, Plattsmouth A very happy day was spent at the pleasant home of Mrs. Raymond Haith of Plattsmouth when the So cial Circle club met for their month ly meeting Tuesday, February 13th. This was an all day meeting, the dinner was the same sumptuous af fair as always which everyone en joyed to the limit. After dinner Mrs. Harry Gobelman, our efficient presi dent, opened the meeting and a short business session was held, after which our music leader, Mrs. Ezra Albin took charge and club songs were sung. Mrs. Haith playing the piano. The hostess had prepared the games bingo and broken hearts for entertainment and each member brought a white elephant gift for prizes which caused a lot of merri ment. The person who got the broken heart together first received a prize. Several visitors were pres ent to enjoy the day with the club and everyone felt that Mrs. Haith was a royal hostess. The next meeting will be at the home cf Mrs. Herman Comer. Every one try to come as this will be elec tion of officers. OPERETTA PLEASES AUDITORS From Tuesday's Dally Last evening the operetta, "And It Rained" was presented at the audi torium of the high school, this being the second performance of this fine musical presentation, with its clever dancing numbers. The cast was even better than on the first performance last Thursday, those attending feel ing well repaid for their time. The operetta is one of the best that the local school has produced, reflecting the greatest credit on the young peo ple taking part and the very fine training that they have been given "iv their instructors. The opening presentation was on last Thursday, the day of the very heavy snow and extreme wintry weather conditions, which served to cut the attendance a great deal. 10 fttlfc ttttt-ftlftTEB jClAHndAL&jj jB I v Bernat's Fine J - 'i V&fc 1 Knitting Yarns 2j I? for Dresses and! yf- ili?
