Florence Sedlak Eetrothed
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sedlak,
who reside on West Elm street, an
nounce the betrothal and forthcom
ing marriage of their youngest
daughter, Miss Florence Marie Sed
lak to Mr. Wilbert Lang, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Lang of David City,
Nebraska. The young people have
selected Wednesday, December 27 as
their wedding date. The matrimonial
ceremony v. ill take place at the Hcly
Rosary Catholic church.
Louis Lorenz' Entertained
Accompanying Fied Lorenz and
Miss Cecilia Vondra of Omaha to To
bias, Nebraska Sunday were Mr. and
Mrs. Lcuis Lorenz, the former an
uncle of Fred. At Tobias they were
noon-day dinner guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Boxa, the latter a niece
of Louis Lorenz. A sumptuous
chicken-duck dinner with all of the

necessary and elaborate trimmings,
was served in the Czech fashion, and
the variety of food was large. In
cluded in the afternoon guest list at
the Boxa home was Mr. and Mrs.
James Novak, . who reside near To- j
bias and Mrs. Novak is another niece
of Louis Lorenz. Among the others
included at the dinner were Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Lorenz, Joseph Lorenz,
Jr. and Miss Idella Vlasin.
