Pankell of Stella, who was vis iting George Gates of University place Tuesday. He said that five hundred people watched the clou as it swooped down on the town. It was an ordinary looking cloud with a small tail to it that reach ed to the ground. It darted as quick as lightning. The people that watched it declare that they will not stand and watch another one, but will get in their cellars. Mr. Pankell said that George Ilelmick, a farmer near Stella, was sitting in his house when rhe wind struck. He felt a hot and cold blast of air strike him from two different directions and the next thing he knew his house had been torn to pieces and hurl ed away. The path of the storm was about fifty yards wide, he said.
