DAWSON The Dawson High School gave an entertainment last Friday night. It was well attended and was a grand success. They realized for their sffort $65.60. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Kean spent Sunday in Shubcrt with Mrs. Kean’s parents. Mr Woodruff the new hotel man gave a big dinner for the businoss men last Sunday. Everyone said they had a fine time. Among those from here w'ho saw i “Ben Ilur’’ in St. Joe were Vesta V. Lively, Nina D. Snow, Winifred Ryan, Nellie Brisco and Mrs. Dr. Burgher. Margie and Theresa Kenr are having the measles. Rev. Holdeman returned home from conferenc last Monday. Mrs. Rob Edie of Humboldt was in this city visiting her parents. She also attended the funeral of Maude Me Guinnis. Jacob Ulmer moved into the house he recently purchased. Margaret Ryan accompanied by Elizabeth Shaw came up from Falls City and spent Sunday. Dan Riley went to Omaha on bus iness Saturday. The Misses Smith visited their sister, Miss Violet Smith Friday.
