The sad news of the death of Mrs Jacob Snyder, which occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Stitzer, Friday afternoon was a shock to the community. Site had been in poor health for some time and her family knew the end was not far off. The funeral was held at the Stitzer home Sunday, February 2(1, and was largely attended The remains were taken to the Salem t emetcry for burial. About 4: :50 the groom,Jacob Stabler,aceompani ‘d by the bride, Miss Lydia Itandliker, drove to tin' parsonage, where in the presence of a few near friends and relatives they wore made husband and wife. From the parsonage a'l drove over to the bride's home where a large number of friends had gathered to greet and welcome the young couple. Light refreshments were served and a really good time was quietly indulged in in defer ence to Mr Danliker's state of health all noisy demonstrations were avoided. The bride and groom will go to Colorado in a week or two to begin their new home on a home stead taken by the groom some years ago. We wish them joy and success.
