the site for the city’s water plant,was
justified by tests made as to quantity,

quality of the water is now affected
by conditions which will disappear
; with a short period of use.
Fifth That we commend our Chief
of Police, Samuel Marts, for his faith
j fulness and efficiency. That he ha>
performed the services heretofore
done by two officers, at a saving of
$600 per year to the city. That the
opposition to him comes wholly from
those who wish to violate the law.
Sixth That we will give to the peo
ple an economical, law abiding gov
ernment and w ill establish conditions
J which will assist our public education,
! our churches and our home, to ad*
| vance to higher ideals than now exist.
