Jenne's shoe store this week. A brick paving about four feet wide was placed across the lot occupied by these build ings. This does away with the mud hole that was made there after each rain. What a pitty the whole street cannot be paved in like manner. Quite a number from this place attended the dedication of the Roman Catholic church at Au burn. Among those who went no Sunday morning were Mesdames - dames , Worth , McCarty and Powers : Miss Eiting , Father Bex and Messrs Grant Sanford , J. Higgins and Henry Sanford. They returned Sunday evening. Recorder L. C. Edwards spent Sunday in Auburn. Now honestly , can you give a real good reason for not taking The Tribune ? J. G. Peter Volz who has been visit ing in this vicinity and at Barada left Wednesday morning for his home in Homestead , Okla. His brother-in-law Rudolph Voegle accompanied him. Referring to the length of time business men have been in busi ness in Falls City it might be said Henry C. Smith has been in business longer than any other man in Falls City , having gone into business twenty nine years ago last March. He has occupied the same building longer , a period of twenty years this fall. He has never made a change in firm. Nitzsche was up from Rule Saturday. He made us a pleasant call and showed his good faith by renewing his sub scription. At Mrs. Abbey's Kensington last Friday baby Mary Reavis put her hand in a cup of hot coffee. While the little hand was quite badly burned it was dressed effectively at once and did not blister.
