on it were between fifteen and
twenty coddling moth e jjb.
These eggs are deposited on th *
tree by a certain species of a
miller and if early steps are not
taken to prevent their growth
and hatching , the fruit crop wil'
suffer. To prevent the ravages
of this coddling moth even-
orchard should be sprayed by ,
its owner early in the season and * '
this should be done thoroughly.
Too much attention can not be
paid to this by fruit growers o1-
