The protest was of such character that a telegram was sent from the St. Louis headquarters to stop the printing of the schedule to which a reply was sent that the new time cards were already printed. Owing to several other social functions on Wednesday evening there was not a very large house in attendance at "The True Kentuckian - tuckian , " which is a play of good southern scenes , has a fine com pany and good staging.
