this city.
Joy Andrews left Wednesday
for Columbus , Nebr. , where he
has a good position in a meat
market.
Guy Crook and Fred Cleveland
are at the Missouri lake this week
fishing. They will return some
time the first of next week.
John Rieschick was a pleasant
caller at the Tribune office Wed

Rev. W. W. Laughlin of Fair
fax , MO. , will preach at the Bap-
ti&t church next Sunday morning

Rev. Smith and wife returned
Wednesday evening from Indian
Territory. Mrs. Smith has been
absent about three weeks and
while away she has been very
sick , but is much better.
Charles Burbank , wife and
children of Filley Nebr. attended
the funeral of Mary Parlier in
this city on Tuesday. Mrs.
Burbank is a neice of the de
ceased , but had made her home
with her from two years of age
until grown.

The school board have hired
all the teachers for the coming
year. Iva Beck , of Edgar , Neb. ,

Mohler was elected to the sixth
grade Central. Floy Grinstead
will teach the third and fourth
grades of the high school , and
| Belle Miller was changed to the
1 seventh grade Central.
, Father Bex Hurt.
On last Frviay Father Bex was
, in Plattsmouth and while walk
ing down the streel slipped and
fell backward and hurt himseli
quite badly. He was not able tc
hold services last Sunday and is
still confined to his room. The
physicians say the accident is
not serious but is a vcrv painful
one. We hope , however , it will
be only a short time until Rev ,
j Bex has fully recovered.
