Arbor Day Exercises.
i Saturday being Arbor day , Fri-
Q day was observed instead by appropriate -
iI propriate exercises in the various
y , grades of the public schools. .
The teachers issued invitations
i .j and many patrons attended , especially -
pecially at the high school the
n attendance was very large.
0 Each room gave an interesting
l I program consisting of singing ,
speaking and dialogues by the
children after which two trees
were planted at the Central
school and were named for : Misses
' „ Pearl Prater and LillIan Dorring-
ton. Mr. Pillsbury is responsible
4 i for the naming of these two trees
' and named them as he did owing
1 to the fact that these ladies were
soon to leave the Falls City
schools
