Chief Aldrich was called to the
north part of the city Monday
night to assist in pacifying
Grandma Melhorn who had be-
come violently insane. 'rhe old
lady has been in ill health for
sonic time. Her mania was
made manifest hy her desire to
destroy the funiture. 'rhe pa-
ticnt is some better at this writ-
ing and hopes arc entertained for
herrecovery. : :
R. E. Grinstead and J. 1-1. Miles
are in : incoln this week pulling
for thc drainage law. In as much
as both Gerdes and Lord voted to
amend the law so as to make it
practic ally : inoperative it would
seem that the election of Grin-
stead last fall was about as nec-
essary as The Tribune claimed.

this city needs a business admin-
