A. N. Glenn died at his borne
in this city Sunday nir : ht at the
age of ,5 years , 3 months and 26
clays , of pneumonia after an ill-
ness of a few wecks.
Addison N. GIl'nn was born ill
Gallia County , Ohio , Scptmber 16

civil war hc enlisted as a private ,
and September 1 , lS)2 , was pro-
motlQ to J'fth sergeant , and enTry
Try 4 , l)3 was again promoted
to second lieutenant , and again
on January 1 , 1S)4 to first ! licu-
tcnant in Co. M , of the engineer
orps. Be was discharged at Atlanta -
lanta , Ga. ' October 31. lS)4aft r
having been in all thc cng-agc-
mcnts in which his company took
part.
? Ir. Glenn had lived 1 in this
city for a number of years form-
erly being in the implcmcnt business
ness ! hut of late years had been
011 the retired list. lie had many
warm friends to learn of his dc-
mise. Short funeral services were
held at thc \I. E. church onda'y '
afternoon at 3 o'clock , conducted
by the IJ.tstor. Hcv. \V. ' 1' . Cline ,
after which thc body was shipped
to \ound City , Mo. , for burial.
The sympathy of thc entire
