I" Many pupils , and sad ( to say ,
sonic teachers , while they know
. a great deal ih detail about the
' geography of 1 nrope , Asia and
Africa , yet they know but very ,
little about thc county in which
r i t1ie ) ' / live. I fInd pupils ill the
eastern part of the county who do
not know hat Hum bold t and
Dawson are iu this county and I
' find pupils in thc western part
who do not know that Rub , Fargo -
' go and Harada are in this coups -
s ty. In fact our teachers are not
j teaching enough about the geography -
graphy and history of Richardson -
son coun ty. Lct us teach the
pupils \ to see , study , appreciate
and lore thc things of home and
hc home county. ' I wish to
urge each teacher to have a nice
large map of lxichi : rc1son county
drawn , either on the blackboard
or on paper ' and placed on thc
wall , then drill thc pupils on thc
geography history , civil g-o\'ern-
" went and products of Richardson -
son county.

Neither thc children nor thc
teacher can afford to stay all day
in a cold school room , neither
Ctll1 they afford to stay in an over
heat school room. If your school
has not a thermomcter , secure
one and keep the temperature at

are sick at present the attendance
is small. \Ye have taken up , Ha T-

\Ve use it in the first and second
