Musical
The musical given at thc high
School last Thursday night
although not so well attended as
it would have been , had thc wea-
ther been more pleasant , was ; e -

by thc stud ntsof thc high : school
are always creditable and this one
was of the usual standard.
As Ed Schulcr was driving
home in his buggy from town on
Saturda afternoon , he was run
into by Fred Miller , one of his
neighbors , who it i seem held a
grudge against h m. Millec being .
drunk , thought it a good time to
even up with Schuler , and drove
into Schuler from behind , his
horse shying off sidewise broke
down one of Schulers hind wheels
and threw Schuler out. From
words they soon came to blows.
Miller , who is a large man , was
too drunk to handle himself free-
ly , so that Schuler , a small man ,
gave Miller such a sound drubbing . -
bing , that Miller had to keep his
bed for several days , and is now
nursing lame leg , and a crip- I .
pled finger. 'ro cap the ' climax ,
1\Iiller was arrcsted' and fined in' '
Judge Cleavers court to the

amount of $12.60.
