before resuming charge of the

the juniors to the senior class
was held last 'l'hursday night at
the home of E. C. Colhapp and
wife , and was attended by members -
hers of both classes and the high
school teachers. water in the
evening the banquet was held at
the Park hotel and toasts were
responded to by a number of the
guests , the atTains being in charge
of Fred Arnold. / In two original
contests Fred Arnold and Jennie
Gravatte proved the most adept
and were awarded bouquets of
beautiful roscs. After the ban-
q uet. was over the crowd returned

to the Colhapp home , where a
short literary and musical pro-
gram was rcndercd. 'he hotel
dining room was decorated in the
colors of thc juniors , purple and
gold , while the parlors of the reception -
ception room showed green and
white , the senior class colors.
