Salem , thc happy couple were . . showered with cong-ratulations. The bride is thc daughter of the late Wm. Wind1c. She was raised on the home farm north- cast of town and is widely known. She is a highly accomplished young lady , possessing the accomplishments - complishments and traits of char- actcr that go to make up the true woman. The groom is the postmaster at Vcrdon and one of thc best known and most highly respected young men in thc county. Both he and his bride have many friends who join in congratulating - ing- them on this happy occasion. G. F. Marburger t Dead George F. 1\larburg-er died at his home in I-Iumboldt Friday aftcrnoon. 1\-11' Iarburgcr had been in poor health for a long time and his dcath , though not unexpected , comes as a shock to his friends throughout thc coun- ty.trhe deceased was a promi- nCJ1t business man of IIumbo1dt and had lived there for many years. He enjoycd a wile acquaintance - quaintancc and , all those who knew him regarded him as an upright man and an exemplary citizcn. IIc was promin emit in lodge circles , being a member of the 1. O. O. F. , 11.V. . A. , A. O. U. \V. and D. of 1-1. The funeral was hcld on Sunday afternoon from thc Presbytcrian church at 1-1 tun bold t.
