Benkelman Wednesday morning and arriving at home on the evening of that day the 29th If present plans are at all fully realized the trade excursion will comprehend the liveliest bunch of boosters for a Larger McCook that has hit the road in several moons There are enough of the dauntless brand of business men in McCook to make things move regardless of the drones on the brakes School for the work of slinking the regular wells has been started They will be located about 500 feet south of the Burlington wells Mr Meeker and Mr Gray think they have founnd a fine water producing stratum of sand Perhaps 9 wells in all will be sunk Twelve inch pipe will be used the same to be sunl betwecn 20 and 25 feet with the lower 10 feet perforated These wells will all be connected up and an oil engine attached to them this engine will draw the water from these pipes and pump same into the big wells from which the supply for the city will be pumped by the regular pumr in the power house It Is
