Eastern automobilists are ar
ranging for an auto tour across
the countr replacing the Glid
den tour of past years which has
been discontinued It is
ted that ioo cars and possibly
300 people will be included in
this tour But the vital point in
this matter is the fact that the
route so far adopted does not in
clude Nebraska but runs from
New York to Denver via Kansas
City Nebraska is ignored not
withstanding her roads compare
favorably with those of any of
the middle western states
The question of changing this
itinerary is being taken up with
the New Yuik cud by the Xen
laska State Automobile Associa
tion and other associations and
it is hoped to secure a chang
including Nebraska
Commercial clubs of the state
will be asked to cooperate with
auto associations in bringing
about this highly desirable end
It would be a rare opportunity
for Nebrasxans to show their
state in its true light and color to
eastern people who need the il
lumination
