PAUL BEACH DROWNED
The Boy Goes in Bathing and
Drowns in a Deep Hole
About two oclock yesterday af
ternoon the telephone announced
the drowning of Paid Beach
son of Mr and Mrs Hu
bert Beach who live in Frontier
county a few miles from Box
Elder this county
It seems that Paul was repair
ing fence in the neighborhood pf
a deep pool of water in a canyon
on the Beach farm and went in
to the pool swimming The watej
proved to be quite deep and he
quickly sank to his death Two
little children- witnessed the
drowning and carried the sad
news to the mother at home Mr
Beach was in McCook at the time
and immediately started for home
Help was summoned from the
neighborhood and the body was
with some difficulty recovered
from the hole about an hour af
ter the accident Dr Duncan and
Rev McBride went to the scene
in an auto but death had done its
work
Services were held at the farm
this afternoon at one oclock con
ducted by Rev McBride of the
Baptist church of our city and
the body was afterwards convey
ed to McCook for burial in the
cemeteiy
