The Rev Charles F Aked recently
said in an address in San Francisco
I challenge you the men to name
a time and a country where the fran
chise has been extended to a pre
viously unenfranchised class who at
time of their enfranchisement were
as capable of exercising the franchise
as the American woman is today
Cannot Attach Postal Savings
Akron O June 13 Deposits made
in the United States postal savings
banks cannot be attached by creditor
in any state in the union according to
Postoffice Inspector George Pate
who today completed his first inspec
tion of the bank opened at Barberton
Ohio
Absolute secrecy must be maintain
ed as to the identity of the deposit
ors and courts are helpless in any at
tempt to force postmasters to pro
duce their records

The friends of Sam Montgomery
were very sorry to learn of his ac
cident Monday morning and are hop
ing for his recovery
Basil Dorothy and Leah Doyle
went to Perry Tuesday to see their
cousin Sam Montgomery who was run
over by the cars while crossing the
track Both of the horses he was
driving were killed and Sam badly
injured
