house at that place It would seem reasonable that when this is done there will be through train service established from the St Francis branch via Alma to the main line at Sutton It is claimed that for the present the branch train will be run to Oxford instead of Orleans All of which will give us better train serv ice than at present Beaver City Times Tribune Curfew Ordinance Parents attention is called to the curfew ordinance prohibiting children under 16 years being upon any street alley vacant lot or public place after 930 P M between March 1st and September 1st and after 800 P M between Sept 1st and March 1st This ordinance will be strictly enforc ed Parents who permit their chil dren to violate this ordinance are olso liable to fine Recently chil dren from 12 to 16 years of age have today on the floor cencerning certain particulars of the statehood bill now pending Both Mr Norris and Mr Kinkaid will vote for the bill but while Mr Norris j warmly commended the Arizona con stitution approving of the referendum and recall clauses Mr Kinkaid seem ed to think that these were too rad ical and objectional In defense of the recall Mr Norris said in part It has been said by those who have opposed the initiative and refer endum that if it had existed Wash ington would have been recalled Mr Chairman I deny it Washington was re elected after four years of service by practically a unanimous vote He would have been elected again for a third term by a grateful and patriotic people had he consented longer to serve his country as president It is said that Abraham
