Herman Kapke came up from Kan

week on some business He is do
ing well In Kansas City and the fam
ily enjoys living there Mr Kapke
was in the tailoring business here for

Mr Francis Marion Colfer deputy
state oil inspector has retired from
politics temporarily and is now de
voting his eloquence and energy to
extolling the conspicuous merits of a
fine sturdy hoy who escaped the vig
ilance of St Peter close of last week
and is now residing at his home
