thirteen injured in a wreck near
Clayton Kansas early last Friday
morning Heavy rain had washed
away about a thousand feet of a fill
and the engine baggage smoking and
chair car went into the hole
Burlington Annual Figures
Chicago Sept 23 The annual re
port of the conditions of the Chicago
Burlington Quincv railroad for the
year ending June 20 last shows a
total operating revenue of 87859517
a total operating expense of 863 010964
and a net operating revenue of S24
853552 Outside operations including
losses in restaurant and dining car
service and taxes cut the net operating
revenue to 22 481036 The total oper
ating revenue is more than 89250000
greater than that of the year ending
June 30 1909
