In reference to your article in the
last weeks issue of your paper concern
ing the special tax matter I wish mere
ly to say that County Commissioner
Sughroue was the first one to request
me to prepare the notice and outline
the j roceedings Although the claim
has been allowed the warrant has not
been received by me and is still in the
county clerks office If Mr Sughroue
and the other commissioners had no
authority to employ me to perform this
serv ce or if the claim is excessive it
can be very easily settled by having
Mr Dodtje start prceedings to stop the
payment Yours truly
