and Mr C A Rodgers gave a short talk on the lodge as at present manifesting its tenets and activities in this city I is interesting to note iu this con nection too that the silwr anniversary of McCook lodge occurs this summer or fall A Barnett Gives Handsome Medals A Barnett has offered a handsome gold and silver medal to be awarded as first and second prizes for declamatory contest work in the high school Eleven young people in tho high school are working hard on their selections The contest will probably be given about March 26 The winner in addition to tho gold medal will represent McCook
