has been introduced in the Kansas legislature compelling news papers to publish monthly statements of their circulation that advertisers may know what they are getting or their money This bill is similar to the one recently drafted by the Milwaukee Ad Club and now pending in the Wisconsin legislature The bill provides a fine of 500 for a false statement All honest and respectable Nebraska newspaper men will favor a similar law for this state Advertisers should be protected against the imagination of irresponsible solicitors on the one hand and publisher should not be allowed to secure
