he will build a dwelling house soon A young couple named Paxton who have been living on the Smith Powell ranch took leave Sunday night and have gone over the hills and faraway leaving several parties contemplating a trip to Isle of Pines in the near future Frank McNeil had a birthday Friday of hut week and tho young folks sur prised him with a party All had a good time in tho usual way Editor Byfield has commenced work on his new residence near the Christian church Ho will also build a newspaper oflice 6oon both of which will add to the appearance of our town Miss Bertha Schoenthal arrived here last week from her home near Bennott and will visit an indefinite time at her brother Dans Charley Miller is down with what is supposed to be typhoid fever Miss Pearl Lyman entertained the young pooplo of Indianola at her pleas- ant homo in Bartley Tuesday evening Riifreshmonts were served and everybody had a good time Miss Cassie Harrison is quite sick with tonsilitis Miss Midileton of
