appear than any other person about the board Mrs J I Lee and Mrs I N McDougal received the sad news of the death of their eldest broth er W M Jones which occurred in Okhahoma City on January 27 from abscess of the liver He had been confined to his bed about six weeks The deceased leaves a wife two daughters and three sons to mourn his loss also one brother and three sisters The eldest sister lives in Califor nia and was on her way to see hjm but did not arrive until a few hours after his death He was a prominent member of the Masonic lodge and other orders of Oklahoma City He settled in Oklahoma City eleven years ago and has been engaged in the liv ery business there He was also well known in McCook and vicin ity having been in the livery business here two years in 1 893 and 1894
