Despicable Acts of Unknown Parties
The Tribune lias beeu called upon
lately to note somo despicable acts
but nothing meaner has come to our
notice than those of Decoration day
when flowers vase set pieces etc were
stolen and removed from graves by un
known cowardly and despicable charac
ters Among thoso reporting such acts
at this oflice are A W Utter and George
Beck Both had flowers stolen and re
moved from graves of dear ones Mr
Beck states in this connection that he
will pay 10 for information leading to
conviction of the parties and 31500
additional upon conviction It might
be helpful for the cemetery authorities
to add a material sum to this offer

DECORATION DAY
The observance was very similar to
those of past years with the exception
that there were a few more graves to de
corate as the list herewith discloses and
less of flowers to do it with on account
of lateness of the season
As per plan followed in late years the
decorations of the graves of veterans
and others was performed by a post com
mittee and by citizens in the fornoon
and the formal exercises of the day were
held in tho afternoon according to the
